So far, nothing has even shown the slightest indication of fixing the problem. Change adapter duplex settings within the OS.- Change adapter settings within the BIOS. Change router settings and make sure I wasn't being throttled on my particular machine (I have a NightHawk R7000P). Buy a TP-Link PCIe Gigabit ethernet adapter, in case it was my mobo's hardware. Buy a brand-new Cat6 cable (I already was using one, but it was just in case). That's why I'm using a consistent test between multiple machines on the same network instead. An before anyone asks, yes, I have tried other speedtest sites, and as usual, they all give very different results. I only receive 30Mbps down from Google's speedtest, whereas every other device on my network gets between 150 and 200 (both other PCs I've tested are on the same wired connection). I'm experiencing some very weird behavior from my desktop PC as of this morning. UPDATE #2: The problem (possibly) fixed itself? I'm not sure, but it's working now - more details in my comment below. Unless anyone knows how to do a hard reset for network settings on Windows, I might have to reinstall. UPDATE: After trying the same speed test on the same machine with a different OS, it has been narrowed down to a software issue.
